- 5 large granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 2/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice

- 1 melt butter in a 12 inch skillet over medium-high heat; add apples and remaining ingredients. saute 15-20 minutes or until apples are tender.
