Matcha Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ice cubes, or as desired
  • 1 cup orange juice

Slow Cooker Stuffed Bell Peppers (for 2)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef (chuck, sirloin, what have you)
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon of mccormicks grill seasoning (steak) or 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/4 chopped onion
  • 2 cups ketchup, plus
  • 1/2 tablespoon ketchup, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon steak sauce
  • 1/2 cup cooked rice
  • 2 bell peppers (any color you prefer)
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 place meat in a large mixing bowl. pour 1 beaten egg into bowl add seasoning or salt and pepper, allspice, tomato paste, steak sauce, spicy brown mustard, the 1/2 tablespoon of ketchup and onion to the bowl and combine into the meat. (make sure egg is well combined, you don't want any scramble egg in the meat when you cook it!).
  • 2 brown and crumble meat for 4 or 5 minutes,drain. remove from heat. stir in rice and a cup of ketchup; let stand 5 minutes.
  • 3 meanwhile, cut tops off peppers; remove seeds, and rinse peppers. mix water and remaining cup of ketchup into 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. place peppers upright in cooker. spoon meat mixture into peppers.
  • 4 cover and cook on low heat setting 4 to 6 hours or until peppers are tender. spoon sauce from bottom of dish over peppers just before serving.

  • 3 -4 lbs beef chuck roast, trimmed of most fat
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoons beef bouillon
  • 1 (20 ounce) bottle good cola
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cracked black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 6 yukon gold potatoes, quartered
  • 3 carrots, cut into 3 in chunks
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 large onion, quartered
  • 5 celery ribs, cut into chunks
  • 5 garlic cloves, scored

  • 1 rub roast with salt and pepper.
  • 2 coat liberally with flour, shaking off the excess.
  • 3 heat a skillet to high, add 3 turns of the pan of vegetable oil and sear the outside of the roast to get a nice brown crust, but do not fully cook.
  • 4 in a slow cooker, combine cola, water, worcestershire and beef bouillon, whisk together.

  • 2 continue cooking on low for up to 10 hours. puree with a stick blender until smooth.

Slow Cooked Pepper Steak

  • 1 1/2-2 lbs beef round steak
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 tomatoes, cut into eights
  • 2 large green peppers, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • cooked noodles or rice

Recipe

  • 1 cut beef into 3-inch x 1-inch strips; brown in oil in a skillet. transfer to a slow cooker.
  • 2 combine the next seven ingredients; pour over the beef. cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the meat is tender.

Slow Cooked Lamb Loin With Dried Cherries And Baby Onions

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 (2 lb) boneless lamb loin, end tied
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 yellow onions, cut into 16 wedges
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 3 cups cooked rice, for serving
  • 1/3 cup chopped parsley, for garnish

Recipe

  • 1 in a gallon size ziploc storage bag, combine the honey, orange juice, white vinegar, rosemary and cumin. place the lamb loin in the bag and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • 2 remove the loin from the bag and set aside. pour the marinade into a medium bowl and whisk in the flour, a little at a time, until there are no lumps; then set aside.
  • 3 heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. add the lamb loin and cook on all sides until golden, about 5 minutes. remove the loin and place in the bowl of a medium (4-quart) slow cooker (see chef's note). add the onions to the skillet and sauté until slightly softened and golden, about 5 minutes.
  • 4 place the onions in the slow cooker with the lamb loin. add the cherries to the reserved marinade from step 2 and pour the mixture over the lamb loin and onions. place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 2 hours 25 minutes, or until a meat thermometer (inserted into the middle of the loin) registers 160 degrees f.   • 7 slow cookers vary, so start checking meat for doneness after about 2 hours.
  • 8 to prepare this dish without a slow cooker, simply follow the steps above through cooking the loin in the skillet. next, instead of placing the loin in the slow cooker, place it in a large pot on your stovetop. add the onions, cherries and reserved marinade from step 2. cover the pot with a lid and cook on medium-low for about 2 hours 15 minutes, or until a meat thermometer registers 160 degrees f. allow the lamb loin to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Slow Cooked Lamb With Cornbread Stuffing

  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen broccoli carrots cauliflower mix
  • 3 cups cornbread stuffing mix

Recipe

  • 1 trim fat from chops; set aside.
  • 2 lightly coat a 5 1/2 quart or 6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray; set aside.
  • 3 lightly coat a large skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat.
  • 4 add two of the chops; cook on both sides until brown.
  • 5 remove from skillet.
  • 6 repeat with remaining chops.
  • 7 in an extra large bowl stir together the soup and melted butter.
  • 8 add frozen vegetables and stuffing mix; stir to combine.

Slow Cooked Chicken Curry (crock Pot)

  • 2 small onions, finely diced (about 2 cups)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced (about 1 1/2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 jalapeno, finely diced (about 1/2 tablespoon)
  • 1 tablespoon gingerroot, minced
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 3/4 cup mango chutney
  • 1 1/4 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or 1 1/4 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 granny smith apple, cut into medium to large chunks (i did tenths and halved them)

Recipe

  • 1 lightly spray the interior of your crock pot with a light coating of cooking spray for easier clean up later.
  • 2 cover the bottom of pot with the onions, garlic and jalapeños. top with the chicken breasts. (please make sure the onions are finely chopped as the desired result is to have them melt into the sauce.).
  • 3 combine the curry powder, chutney, tomato paste and ginger together and pour over the chicken.
  • 4 place the apples on top.
  • 5 cook for 4-5 hours on high until the chicken is cooked and tender but not falling apart. mix the sauce together so that all elements are blended. if you want a thicker sauce, remove the chicken from the crock pot and stir in a teaspoon or two of cornstarch and cook until the sauce is glossy.

Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs

  • 4 lbs lamb baby back ribs
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash hot sauce

Recipe

  • 1 1. preheat oven to 400*f.
  • 2 2. season ribs with salt and pepper. place in a shallow baking pan. brown in oven 15 minutes. turn over, and brown another 15 minutes; drain fat.
  • 3 3. in a medium bowl, mix together the ketchup, chili sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, oregano, worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and salt and pepper. place ribs in slow cooker. pour sauce over ribs, and turn to coat.
  • 4 4. cover, and cook on low 6 to 8 hours, or until ribs are tender.
  • 5 my note: the genius of this recipe is the first step - roasting ribs in the oven. this removes fat and liquid that would otherwise cause soupy results in the crockpot. use any sauce (i like 1 cup ketchup, 1 cup stubb's barbecue sauce, 2 tablespoons. brown sugar, 1 teaspoon worcestershire, and tabasco hot sauce to taste.) the original sauce recipe (which i've tried) isn't sharp or hot enough for our tastes. we use boneless beef chuck country ribs, 2 lbs. or more. stir once during cooking time so ribs don't stick to sides and burn. to thicken sauce a bit, put the crockpot on high, with the lid ajar, during the last half hour.
  • 6 i didn't care for all the ingredients needed for the results. it tasted similar to what i tend to do for slow cooker ribs. i simplyt seasoned the ribs with garlic salt, onion powder, and black pepper; place in the crock pot and cover the ribs with a half a bottle of kc masterpiece bbq sauce. i let the ribs cook on low for about 8-10 hours. then i place them in the oven on a baking sheet for a half hour so that the sauce caramelizes the meat. it works every time!
  • 7 the sauce tastes alot like ketchup. it is not horrible but it is below average to me. i substituted the 2 cup equivalent of my favorite bbq sauce for the ketchup and they were delicious. i would also recommend rotating the ribs halfway through the cooking process if possible so that all the ribs are equally tender. this just became my favorite slow cooker recipe.
  • 8 these were the most incredible ribs i have ever tasted, in or out of a restaraunt! i followed other reviewers' advice and substituted bbq sauce for the ketchup, (2 cups) and ketchup for the chili sauce. (1 cup) i cut back on the vinegar to 2 1/2 tablespoons just because i thought 4 tablespoons was a lot. i also left out the hot sauce, simply because i didn't have any on hand. i used boneless country style ribs. i couldn't get them out of the crock pot in one piece, they were soo tender!
  • 9 in my son note's: he said for the crock pot suggestion. best prep is simmering ribs in water bath (with minced garlic, seasoned salt & emeril's southwestern spice), for 20 minutes; then prepare bbq sauce of choice (approx 2 cups), add to drained ribs and cook in crock pot for 5-6 hours on low. remove from crock pot and brown ribs on grill or under broiler.

  • 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/3 cup whipping cream (35% fat)
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1 in slow cooker, combine potatoes, onion, garlic, bacon, 2 cups of corn, paprika, thyme, salt, pepper, chicken broth and 2 cups of water. cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender. when cooked, break up potatoes roughly using a potato masher.

  • 6 slices french bread, toasted

  • preheat an oven to 425 degrees f (220 degrees c).
  • heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat. stir in the onion; cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes. reduce heat to medium-low, and continue cooking and stirring until the onion is very tender and dark brown, 15 to 20 minutes more. stir in the flour; cook and stir for a few minutes, then gradually add the beef broth and water. bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.

Slow Cooker Bacon-herb Wrapped Lamb Tenderloin
