Skillet Lasagna

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb italian sausage, crumbled
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with basil, garlic,& oregano
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 3 cups campanella pasta, cooked (6 oz)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided (8 oz)

Recipe

  • 1 cook sausage over medium-high heat in skillet until crumbled and no longer pink, drain.
  • 2 blend in tomatoes and paste.
  • 3 simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 4 remove from pan; keep warm.
  • 5 place half of cooked pasta in bottom of skillet.
  • 6 pour half of tomato-meat mixture over pasta.
  • 7 sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
  • 8 repeat layers.
  • 9 cover and cook over medium heat until heated through and cheese melts.
  • 10 remove from heat; let stand 1 minute.
