- 1 1/2 cups stale bread cubes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 cups thinly sliced fruit (peaches, apples, or whole berries)
Recipe
- 1 brown bread in butter.
- 2 add honey and fruit.
- 3 cover and cook until fruit is tender, about 8 minutes.
- 4 serve hot or cold with heavy cream.
