Ingredients

- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter (not margarine)
- 1 cup half-and-half cream
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
Recipe
- 1 mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- 2 scald the butter and cream then add to the dry ingredients.
- 3 mix in the eggs.
- 4 grease and flour a 9 or 10 inch cast iron skillet.
- 5 bake at 350°f for 30 minutes.
