Skillet Granola

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit or 1/2 cup raisins

Recipe

  • 1 in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. as the butter begins to melt, slowly stir in the honey until well combined.
  • 2 add the sesame seeds and cook for 2 minutes - stirring often.
  • 3 add the oats and cook 3 to 4 more minutes - stirring often - until the oats are golden brown.
  • 4 if you're adding raisins or dried fruit, stir them in just as the oats start to brown.
  • 5 spread granola evenly over a large cooking sheet to cool.
