Semi Homemade Grilled Chicken And Spicy Pasta

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 tablespoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 lb rotini pasta
- 4 grilled chicken breast fillets (frozen bag from store)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375 to heat the ready grilled chicken breast fillets for 20-25 minutes.
- 2 boil water for rotini pasta, cook for 15 minutes. save 1/2 cup of the cooking starchy water for the sauce.
- 3 heat olive oil in pan.
- 4 add chopped onion and garlic to heated oil, sauté until onions are almost browned.
- 5 add salt pepper and red pepper flakes.
- 6 add marinara sauce and cream, cook until it comes to a boil and add heated chicken into pan, cook for 5 minutes.
- 7 when pasta is done, drain and add 1/2 tablespoon of butter.
- 8 place pasta, and the chicken and sauce into serving platter.
- 9 i like to top mine off with some cheese and let it melt.
