Slow Cooked Swiss Steak

Total Time: 8 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 -2 1/2 lbs boneless round steak
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 teaspoons beef bouillon granules

Recipe

  • 1 in a shallow bowl, combine flour, pepper and salt.
  • 2 cut steak into serving size pieces; dredge in flour mixture.
  • 3 in a skillet brown steak in oil.
  • 4 transfer to a slow cooker.
  • 5 combine remaining ingredients and pour over steak.
  • 6 cover and cook on low 8-9 hours or until the meat is tender.
