Slow Cooked Pulled Lamb

Total Time: 8 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 4 lbs boneless lamb shoulder or 4 lbs lamb, picnic
  • 12 sandwich buns

Recipe

  • 1 in a 4 1/2 to 6 quart slow cooker pot, stir in all ingredients accept lamb until combined.
  • 2 cut lamb into four pieces add lamb to sauce and cover well.
  • 3 cover slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until lamb is very tender.
  • 4 transfer lamb to a large bowl or cutting board. set slow cooker to high and cover. heat sauce to boiling to thicken and reduce slightly.
