Skillet Chili Mac

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (15 ounce) can beans in chili sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can dark red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (14 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder or 1 tablespoon chili seasoning mix
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef in a large skillet.
  • 2 then add the tomatoes, seasoning and water.
  • 3 bring to a boil
  • 4 add the macaroni - reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes or until pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed - stir occassionaly.
  • 5 add the grated cheese and cover - allow the cheese to melt.
  • 6 serve with sour cream, shredded lettuce and fritos.
