Sherried London Broil With Herb Butter

Total Time: 8 hrs 40 mins Preparation Time: 8 hrs 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (3 lb) london broil beef, 2 to 2 1/2 inches thick
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup dry
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 10 black peppercorns
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoons chives, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dry
  • 1 dash hot sauce

Recipe

  • 1 combine marinade ingredients in a flat shallow dish.
  • 2 cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight, turning the meat occasionally.
  • 3 allow the meat to stand for one hour at room temperature.
  • 4 broil/grill 5- 10" mins per side, depending on your preference for doneness.
  • 5 spread the soft herb butter over the meat and slice across the grain.
