Sherried London Broil With Herb Butter

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 (3 lb) london broil beef, 2 to 2 1/2 inches thick
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup dry
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 onion
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 10 black peppercorns
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons chives, minced
- 2 teaspoons dry
- 1 dash hot sauce
Recipe
- 1 combine marinade ingredients in a flat shallow dish.
- 2 cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight, turning the meat occasionally.
- 3 allow the meat to stand for one hour at room temperature.
- 4 broil/grill 5- 10" mins per side, depending on your preference for doneness.
- 5 spread the soft herb butter over the meat and slice across the grain.
