Simple Scones

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups self raising flour, siftted
  • 300 ml lemonade, warm
  • 300 ml cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 dash milk

Recipe

  • 1 pre-heat oven to 200c and line baking tray with paper.
  • 2 combine all ingredients together in a large bowl and mix well.
  • 3 knead together until a soft dough and turn a floured board.
  • 4 roll dough out to about 3cm thick and cut scones with a scone cutter.
  • 5 place on tray and brush with egg and milk mixture.
  • 6 cook in oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
