Simple Scallops

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 12 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/2 cup pale dry
  • 1/2 lb mushroom, sliced
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup parsley or 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 lb baby scallops
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half

Recipe

  • 1 combine garlic, butter, , mushrooms, scallions and parsley in a saucepan.
  • 2 saute 2 minutes over medium heat.
  • 3 add scallops, stir and simmer 2 minutes.
  • 4 add flour, stir to incorporate.
  • 5 slowly add the half and half stirring until thickened and scallops are tender.
  • 6 serve in a bowl or over rice.
