Sherried Chicken

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 cup dry
  • 1/4 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 spray a baking dish, i use an 8 x 8 glass one, with vegetable spray.
  • 3 cut onion in half lengthwise and then cross wise into thick slices,.
  • 4 place chicken in prepared pan, scatter onion slices over the top.
  • 5 mix the and water and pour over the chicken.
  • 6 cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • 7 uncover, spoon liquid over chicken and bake 5 minutes more, or until done.

  • 9 to prepare in a crock pot, sprinkle half of onion over bottom, add chicken and place remaining onion on top.
  • 10 add the water mixture and cook on low as long 6 to 8 hours or on high for about 3 hours.
