Simple Rosemary Shortbread

Total Time: 1 hr 24 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr 15 mins Cook Time: 9 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups salted butter
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar (for sprinkling on top)

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter & 2/3 c sugar until light & fluffy.
  • 2 blend in flour and rosemary.
  • 3 form into 3-4 dough cylinders and refrigerate.
  • 4 when you're ready to bake a cylinder, remove from refrigerator and slice into1/4" or so slices.
  • 5 bake at 375 degrees for 9 minutes.
