Slow Cooked Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb beef stew meat, cubed and fat removed
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 beef bouillon cube, crumbled
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 0.5 (1 ounce) packet onion soup mix (half a packet)
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1/2 lb mushroom, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Recipe

  • 1 in a slow cooker, combine the meat, garlic, pepper, bullion cube, soup, onion, onion soup mix, worcestershire sauce and water.
  • 2 cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 5-6 hours.
  • 3 saute mushrooms in a skillet with the butter and add them to the slow cooker 1/2 an hour before serving.
  • 4 stir in cream cheese and sour cream just before serving.
  • 5 serve over egg noodles.
