Sherried Chicken

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup mushroom, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 6 tablespoons
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons rosemary
  • wild rice, cooked

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degees.
  • 2 shake chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika in a bag.
  • 3 brown in half the butter.
  • 4 remove to casserole and add remaining butter to the pan.
  • 5 add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  • 6 sprinkle flour over mushrooms.
  • 7 stir in chicken, broth, and rosemary.
  • 8 pour this mixture over chicken and bake for 45 minutes.
  • 9 serve with wild rice.
