Skewers Of Lamb, Prosciutto, And Sage

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 slices italian bread, cubed (thick sliced bread)
  • 1/2 lb prosciutto, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 lbs lamb, lean and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 12 sage leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 400 degrees f.
  • 2 in a skillet, heat the olive oil until almost smoking.
  • 3 add the bread cubes and fry lightly on all sides.

  • 5 thread 4 wooden skewers with bread cubes, prosciutto, lamb and sage leaves until all ingredients are used up.
