Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups onions, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups carrots, grated
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 6 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 (14 ounce) can corn, drained
- 3/4 teaspoon oregano
- salt and pepper
- 7 1/2 cups ground beef, cooked
- 6 cups make ahead mashed potatoes

- 2 melt butter in a saucepan and fry the onion and carrots until golden brown.
- 3 stir in the flour and cook one minute.
- 4 gradually stir in beef broth and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
