Seven Minute Frosting

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites (unbeaten)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 5 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients except vanilla in upper part of a double boiler, beating constantly with an egg beater until frosting stands in peaks.
  • 2 remove from heat.
  • 3 add vanilla.
  • 4 beat until frosting will spread easily on a 2 layer 8 inch cake.
