Ingredients
- 2 egg whites (unbeaten)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 5 tablespoons cold water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients except vanilla in upper part of a double boiler, beating constantly with an egg beater until frosting stands in peaks.
- 2 remove from heat.
- 3 add vanilla.
- 4 beat until frosting will spread easily on a 2 layer 8 inch cake.
