Seven Bone Steak

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 lbs chuck steaks (7-bone steak)
  • kosher salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced (or minced)
  • 2 rosemary sprigs
  • 1/2 cup white (for more robust flavor) or 1/2 cup red (for more robust flavor)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees f.
  • 2 season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic; rub seasoning all over to distribute evenly.
  • 3 place steak in a large baking dish and lay the rosemary sprigs on top; roast for about 20 minutes.
  • 4 pour over steak and roast until tender, an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
  • 5 let rest 10 minutes then slice into serving pieces.
