Ingredients

- 4 lbs chuck steaks (7-bone steak)
- kosher salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced (or minced)
- 2 rosemary sprigs
- 1/2 cup white (for more robust flavor) or 1/2 cup red (for more robust flavor)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees f.
- 2 season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic; rub seasoning all over to distribute evenly.
- 3 place steak in a large baking dish and lay the rosemary sprigs on top; roast for about 20 minutes.
- 4 pour over steak and roast until tender, an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
- 5 let rest 10 minutes then slice into serving pieces.
