Simple Simple Simple! Black Beans And Onions

Total Time: 8 mins Preparation Time: 3 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 teaspoon butter (or substitute)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 melt the margarine in a skillet over medium heat.
  • 2 add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • 3 the onion should stay crisp, not brown.
  • 4 add the beans and cook for 3 - 4 more minutes.
  • 5 season with salt and pepper.
