Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon butter (or substitute)
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- salt and pepper (to taste)
Recipe
- 1 melt the margarine in a skillet over medium heat.
- 2 add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes.
- 3 the onion should stay crisp, not brown.
- 4 add the beans and cook for 3 - 4 more minutes.
- 5 season with salt and pepper.
