Simple Sesames

Ingredients
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
Recipe
- 1 in large mixer bowl cream butter.
- 2 gradually add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy.
- 3 add flour and mix just until combined.
- 4 stir in sesame seed, coconut and almonds just until well mixed.
- 5 divide dough into thirds.
- 6 place one third on long sheet of wax paper.
- 7 shape into a long roll 2 inches in diameter.
- 8 repeat with remaining dough.
- 9 wrap and refrigerate until firm.
- 10 preheat oven to 300°f.
- 11 cut rolls into 1/4-inch slices.
- 12 bake on ungreased cookie sheets 30 minutes.
- 13 remove to wire racks to cool.
