Simple Sauteed Spinach

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 20 ounces fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in a dutch oven over medium heat.
  • 2 add garlic and cook until beginning to brown, 1 to 2 minutes.
  • 3 add spinach, and toss to coat.
  • 4 cover and cook until wilted, 3 to 5 minutes.
  • 5 remove from heat and add lemon juice, salt and crushed red pepper.
  • 6 toss to coat and serve immediately.
