Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup oatmeal
- salt, to taste
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 -3 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
Recipe
- 1 in skillet, brown ground beef, drain fat.
- 2 add onions and cook until tender.
- 3 add water, bouillon mix, salt and oatmeal.
- 4 simmer together 10 minutes.
- 5 layer meat in bottom of casserole or baking dish.
- 6 top with mashed potatoes, brush with melted butter.
- 7 sprinkle with paprika.
- 8 bake at 325°f for 30 minutes.
- 9 serve with gravy.
