Sloppy Joes - Vegetarian

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 medium green peppers, diced
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 2 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 -2 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 pinch pepper
- salt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cups dry textured vegetable protein
Recipe
- 1 saute the onion and green pepper in 3 tbsp of oil until tender.
- 2 add all the other ingredients.
- 3 simmer together for 20 minutes and serve hot over split hamburger buns.
