Slow Cooked Oriental Lamb Chops

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 lamb chops, 1 inch thick, bone in
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon chili pepper flakes, crushed (sweet or red)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon cold water
Recipe
- 1 in pan, brown chops both sides in oil then transfer to crockpot.
- 2 add garlic to drippings in pan, cook and stir about 1 min or until golden brown.
- 3 stir in soy sauce, broth, brown sugar, pepper flakes and cook and stir until dissolved.
- 4 pour over chops, cover& cook 7-8 hours on low heat.
- 5 remove chops.
- 6 combine corn starch& cold water until smooth and stir into slow cooker.
- 7 return chops, cover, set to high heat and cook for 20 minutes.
- 8 serve over white rice or with a boxed oriental style rice.
