Slow Cooked Oriental Lamb Chops

Total Time: 8 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 lamb chops, 1 inch thick, bone in
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili pepper flakes, crushed (sweet or red)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

Recipe

  • 1 in pan, brown chops both sides in oil then transfer to crockpot.
  • 2 add garlic to drippings in pan, cook and stir about 1 min or until golden brown.
  • 3 stir in soy sauce, broth, brown sugar, pepper flakes and cook and stir until dissolved.
  • 4 pour over chops, cover& cook 7-8 hours on low heat.
  • 5 remove chops.
  • 6 combine corn starch& cold water until smooth and stir into slow cooker.
  • 7 return chops, cover, set to high heat and cook for 20 minutes.
  • 8 serve over white rice or with a boxed oriental style rice.
