Sika Sto Fourno (baked Figs With Red Wine)

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 12 fresh figs, washed (ripe figs)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons red wine
  • yogurt or cream, for serving

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400°f.
  • 2 score top of each fig with a sharp knife.
  • 3 place figs on baking sheet; sprinkle with sugar and drizzle with red wine.
  • 4 bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until softened.
  • 5 transfer to serving places and spoon the thickened red wine sauce over figs.
  • 6 serve with yogurt or cream.
