Papaw's Egg Nog

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 6 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 1 pint whole milk
  • 1 pint bourbon
  • 1 ounce rum
  • nutmeg

Recipe

  • 1 separate eggs and beat both whites and yolks.
  • 2 add 1/2 c sugar to yolks while beating.
  • 3 thoroughly clean beater after beating yolks.
  • 4 add 1/ c sugar to whites once they form stiff peaks.
  • 5 thoroughly clean beater after beating whites.
  • 6 beat 1 pint whipping cream to soft peaks.
  • 7 fold blended yolks, milk, bourbon and rum into the whipped cream. once combined, fold in egg whites. sprinkle nutmeg over the top.
