Sugar Paste (fondant Icing)

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 750 g icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon glycerin
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons liquid glucose

Recipe

  • 1 sieve icing sugar.
  • 2 keep aside.
  • 3 place water in a double boiler.
  • 4 sprinkle gelatin and keep stirring.
  • 5 add glycerin and liquid glucose to the gelatin.
  • 6 stir well.
  • 7 make a well in the icing sugar.
  • 8 pour the mixture in the centre.
  • 9 add egg .
  • 10 knead to form a soft dough.
  • 11 store in an airtight container.
