Sirloin With Bacon Dijon Sauce

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon bacon grease
  • 1 lb boneless sirloin steak
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion

Recipe

  • 1 cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until crisp. remove bacon from skillet and drain on paper towels. reserve 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in skillet.
  • 2 cut beef into 4 serving pieces. sprinkle with seasoned salt. cook beef in bacon grease in skillet over medium heat, about 6 minutes, turning over or until desired doneness. remove beef from skillet and cover to keep warm.
  • 3 mix beef broth, mustard, thyme, and green onions in skillet. cook over medium heat, stirring until slightly thickened. serve over beef.
  • 4 sprinkle beef with bacon.
