Sirloin With Bacon Dijon Sauce

Ingredients

- 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon bacon grease
- 1 lb boneless sirloin steak
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 cup sliced green onion
Recipe
- 1 cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until crisp. remove bacon from skillet and drain on paper towels. reserve 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in skillet.
- 2 cut beef into 4 serving pieces. sprinkle with seasoned salt. cook beef in bacon grease in skillet over medium heat, about 6 minutes, turning over or until desired doneness. remove beef from skillet and cover to keep warm.
- 3 mix beef broth, mustard, thyme, and green onions in skillet. cook over medium heat, stirring until slightly thickened. serve over beef.
- 4 sprinkle beef with bacon.
