- 2 red apples, thinly sliced
- 1 cup red grapes
- 1 (12 ounce) can mandarin oranges in juice
- 1/4 cup sweetened flaked coconut (optional)

- layer about half the cantaloupe in the bottom of a large bowl; top with layers of about half the apple slices, half the grapes, and half the mandarin oranges in juice. repeat the layering.
- top the salad with coconut to serve.
