Sheona's Easy Hamburger Potato Hash

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 6 tablespoons brown gravy mix (enough to make two cups gravy)
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 1/2 lbs potatoes, quartered and then sliced into 1/4 in slices (any potatoes will work, the best tasting ones are red potatoes.)
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 in large lidded frying pan heat oil, add potatoes and cover stirring occasionally until the potatoes are done.
- 2 meanwhile in a medium size pot, cook your hamburger, onion, and garlic, until hamburger is no longer pink, breaking up large chunks.
- 3 drain meat if necessary and return to pot.
- 4 sprinkle gravy mix into the meat and onions stir well to coat meat.
- 5 add water and stir.
- 6 add potatoes to the pot and stir well.
- 7 let cool for five to ten minutes and serve.
