Sauteed Yellow Turnips (Swede or Rutabaga)

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 large yellow turnips, peeled and grated
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 Melt butter in a large skillet and sauté the turnips until soft and deep yellow in colour.
  • 2 Season with salt, pepper and brown sugar.
  • 3 Serve hot.
