Sister Mary's Zesty Carrots

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 carrots, peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons grated onions
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 add carrots to boiling salted water, reduce heat and cook until tender, drain and place in a 6 by 10 inch baking dish.
  • 3 mix onion, horseradish, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and water, pour over carrots.
  • 4 mix bread crumbs and butter, sprinkle over carrot mixture.
  • 5 bake 15 to 20 minutes.
