Sister Mary's Zesty Carrots

Ingredients

- 8 carrots, peeled and cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons grated onions
- 2 tablespoons horseradish
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
- 2 add carrots to boiling salted water, reduce heat and cook until tender, drain and place in a 6 by 10 inch baking dish.
- 3 mix onion, horseradish, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and water, pour over carrots.
- 4 mix bread crumbs and butter, sprinkle over carrot mixture.
- 5 bake 15 to 20 minutes.
