- 8 okra pods
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup oil
Recipe
- 1 slice okra in 1/4-inch slices.
- 2 wash in cold water.
- 3 mix cornmeal, flour, salt, and pepper together.
- 4 roll okra in cornmeal mix.
- 5 fry in hot skillet for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- 6 drain on paper towels or brown paper bags.
