Sautéed And Simmered Lotus

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Recipe

  • 1 peel and slice lotus root thinly. soak in water for 10 minutes.
  • 2 heat sesame oil in frying pan and stir fry lotus over high heat.
  • 3 when they become transparent, add sugar and soy sauce, and keep stirring until all of the liquid is absorbed and the slices are well glazed.
  • 4 sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve.
