Simple Pan Seared Scallops

Total Time: 9 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 4 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 10 -20 large sea scallops
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon coarsley chopped parsley
  • 4 tablespoons white

Recipe

  • 1 mix sugar and salt.
  • 2 rinse scallops and place on a paper towel.
  • 3 heat butter on med- hi.
  • 4 season scallops with salt/sugar mixture.
  • 5 place seasoned side down and cook 3 minutes.
  • 6 season other side cook 3- 4 minutes.
  • 7 remove to plate and cover.
  • 8 pour in pan and reduce to a syrup.
  • 9 remove from heat and add 2tbs butter and parsley.
