Seared Wild Salmon In Saffron Sauce

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 7 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 6 ounces wild king salmon
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1/4 cup white
  • 1/2 shallot, minced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 pinch saffron
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 salt and pepper salmon
  • 2 heat up saute pan to med high heat
  • 3 note make sure to use pan with no melting attachments
  • 4 pre heat oven 400°f.
  • 5 add oil to pan
  • 6 then place fish sear till 1/4 of the side is cooked
  • 7 flip over and place in the over 6 min
  • 8 for the sauce
  • 9 in a small sauce pot add , shallots bay leaf and pinch of saffron
  • 10 reduce till almost dry discard bay leaf
  • 11 add heavy cream, stir and reduce til slightly thick
  • 12 salt and pepper to taste.
