Seared Wild Salmon In Saffron Sauce

Ingredients

- 6 ounces wild king salmon
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1/4 cup white
- 1/2 shallot, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pinch saffron
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 salt and pepper salmon
- 2 heat up saute pan to med high heat
- 3 note make sure to use pan with no melting attachments
- 4 pre heat oven 400°f.
- 5 add oil to pan
- 6 then place fish sear till 1/4 of the side is cooked
- 7 flip over and place in the over 6 min
- 8 for the sauce
- 9 in a small sauce pot add , shallots bay leaf and pinch of saffron
- 10 reduce till almost dry discard bay leaf
- 11 add heavy cream, stir and reduce til slightly thick
- 12 salt and pepper to taste.
