Scrambled Tofu

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 ounce butter
  • 5 ounces firm tofu
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons cream or 2 teaspoons soya cream
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 heat the olive oil and butter in a sauce pan over moderate heat.
  • 2 add the tofu, turmeric, cream and salt and pepper to taste. stir over a gentle heat until the tofu is hot and looks like scrambled egg.
  • 3 if you like a runnier scramble, add a little unsweetened soya milk until you get the right consistency.
