Steamed Cockles

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 kg cockles, cleansed
  • 1 shallot, sliced
  • 1 stalk lemongrass, crushed

Recipe

  • 1 clean the cockles and put it in a pot.
  • 2 add in sliced shallot and a stalk of crushed lemongrass.
  • 3 put the pot on the stove and heat it till all cockles are cooked (when the shells open).
  • 4 remove from the heat.
  • 5 serve.
