Sloppy Joes With Chicken Gumbo

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/3 cup catsup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can chicken gumbo soup (undiluted)
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted

Recipe

  • 1 crumble beef in 2 quart microwave casserole dish.
  • 2 cook on high power (100%) for 3-5 minutes, stirring to break up meat.
  • 3 once or twice.
  • 4 drain hamburger add the remaining ingredients.
  • 5 except for the buns.
  • 6 blend well and heat on high power for about 3 minutes, or until very hot and heated through.
  • 7 spoon meat mixture buns and serve.

  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 brown ground beef and onion. drain.
  • 2 combine ground beef and onion mixture with tomato soup.
  • 3 combine chicken soup and noodles.
  • 4 layer beef mixture, chicken mixture,and green beans.
  • 5 sprinkle with salt.
  • 6 lay cheese over top.
  • 7 cover. cook on low 2-3 hours.

Slow Cooked Oven Tuna Steaks

  • 4 (6 ounce) center-cut tuna steaks (3/4-inch thick)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup kalamata olive, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1/4 cup basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 cup diced sweet onion (such as vidalia)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1/3 cup hot salsa

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 200°f.
  • 2 rub the tuna steaks on both sides with the canola oil and sprinkle them with the salt and pepper.
  • 3 arrange the steaks on a serving plate, or on 4 dinner plates, and bake for about 20 minutes for rare. if you wish the fish cooked to medium, leave it in for a few more minutes.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin (not mix)
  • 3/4 cup egg substitute
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • ice cream, if desired

Recipe

  • 1 spray 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray; spoon pie filling into cooker; spread evenly.
  • 2 beat remaining ingredients except ice cream with electric mixer on low speed 1 minute, scraping bowl constantly; beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.

Slow Cooked Leg Of Lamb With Rosemary And Lemon

  • 2 tablespoons prepared dijon mustard

  • 1 combine the ingredients for the wet rub. smear all over the outside of the leg of lamb. place into a 4-qt slow cooker. no additional liquid is necessary.
  • 2 cook on low 8 hours or high 4-5 hours. if the meat isn't quite tender enough, try carving it and putting it back in the sauce for 20-30 minutes more.

  • 4 lamb shanks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 24 ounces (or 12 ounces & 12 ounces water)
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro leaves, washed well
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar (i use brown sugar splenda)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 stalk celery
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder

Recipe

  • 1 brown meat and onion in olive oil. remove meat to slow cooker or heavy dutch oven.
  • 2 place onion, tomatoes, cilantro, carrot, celery, garlic, brown sugar, ketchup, seasonings & in food processor. process until everything is thick puree consistency.
  • 3 pour mixture over the lamb and cook at low heat for 2-3 hours if stove-top. if you are using the oven, 325 degrees for 2-3 hours. if using a crockpot, cook on low for 4-6 hours, depending on size of the shanks.

  • 4 cups ore-ida obrien potatoes
  • 1 1/4 lbs ground lamb
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 1/8 ounces lipton beefy onion soup mix
  • 5 1/3 ounces kraft garlic and herb shake-n-bake
  • 4 1/2 ounces green giant sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 12 ounces campbells condensed cheddar cheese soup, divided
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 egg
  • 10 ounces campbells condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 onion, sliced thin
  • 8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms

Recipe

  • 1 use a large bowl and mix in ground lamb, ground beef, onion soup mix, shake and bake, eggs and mushrooms. use a small bowl and mix 1/2 cup of cheddar soup and evaporated milk once mixed add to the large bowl containing the meat, then mix well.
  • 2 add potatoes to your slow cooker then add the contents of your large bowl in the form of a loaf in the center above potatoes.
  • 3 mix the rest of your cheddar soup with cream of mushroom soup then add over your meatloaf. then place onions and mushrooms on top of that.
  • 4 cover the cooker and set to high for 1 hour then reduce the heat to low and cook for 5-6 more hours.
