Slippery Dumplings

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 25
  • 1 cup white flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons shortening

Recipe

  • 1 place dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • 2 mix dry ingredients.
  • 3 cut shortening into dry ingredients.
  • 4 add water slowly, just enough to make a stiff dough.
  • 5 if the dough is tacky, add a small amount of flour until it is stiff.
  • 6 roll dough out very thinly, about 1/2 centimeter thick.
  • 7 with a sharp knife cut the dough into small squares, about 1 1/2 inch wide by 2 inches high.
