Sauteed Asparagus

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 lemon, juice of
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 bring water to a boil in a large saute pan. add asparagus and blanch for 2 minutes. transfer asparagus to a plate and pour off the water.
  • 2 melt butter in the pan over medium heat. add asparagus and saute 1 - 2 minutes, tossing to coat.
  • 3 squeese lemon over asparagus; season with salt and pepper.
