Sauteed Asparagus

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup water
- 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 lemon, juice of
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 bring water to a boil in a large saute pan. add asparagus and blanch for 2 minutes. transfer asparagus to a plate and pour off the water.
- 2 melt butter in the pan over medium heat. add asparagus and saute 1 - 2 minutes, tossing to coat.
- 3 squeese lemon over asparagus; season with salt and pepper.
