Sirloin Tips With Garlic Butter Stroganoff

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 lbs sirloin, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 tablespoons
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half

Recipe

  • 1 combine the first five ingredients, stir well and divide in half.
  • 2 melt 3 tablespoons of the butter mixture in a skillet on med-high heat.
  • 3 add onion and cook 3 minutes until golden.
  • 4 add mushrooms and cook about 4 minutes until tender.
  • 5 remove from skillet.
  • 6 sprinkle steak with salt & pepper.
  • 7 melt the other 3 tablespoons of butter over medium high heat and add steak.
  • 8 cook for 5 minutes stirring constantly.
  • 9 return onion/mushroom mix to skillet and stir in and half and half.
  • 10 cook till thoroughly heated through and serve over rice or egg noodles.
