Seared Sea Scallops

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 lb sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons dry white
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarsley ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup flour

Recipe

  • 1 rinse scallops and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • 2 combine flour, salt, pepper and parsley.
  • 3 heat a 12-inch skillet over medium high heat.
  • 4 add 2 tbsp of butter or margarine and the garlic; cook and stir until butter is melted.
  • 5 dredge scallops in flour mixture, add to skillet and cook, stirring frequently for 2-3 minutes or until scallops turn opaque.
  • 6 remove scallops and add to skillet and stir for l minute.
  • 7 drizzle mixture over scallops and serve.
