Seared Sea Scallops

Ingredients

- 1 lb sea scallops
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons dry white
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon coarsley ground pepper
- 1/2 cup flour
Recipe
- 1 rinse scallops and pat dry with a paper towel.
- 2 combine flour, salt, pepper and parsley.
- 3 heat a 12-inch skillet over medium high heat.
- 4 add 2 tbsp of butter or margarine and the garlic; cook and stir until butter is melted.
- 5 dredge scallops in flour mixture, add to skillet and cook, stirring frequently for 2-3 minutes or until scallops turn opaque.
- 6 remove scallops and add to skillet and stir for l minute.
- 7 drizzle mixture over scallops and serve.
