Seared Sea Scallops

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 1 min Cook Time: 4 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb sea scallops, rinsed and pat dry
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Recipe

  • 1 heat the olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  • 2 salt and pepper both sides of the scallops and place them in the pan. whatever you do, do not move the scallops at all until ready to flip.
  • 3 sear the scallops on each side for 1.5 minutes, then remove from the pan and serve.
