Ingredients

- 1 lb cubed lean beef
- flour
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 cup sliced green pepper
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup coarsely chopped onion
Recipe
- 1 dredge meat with flour to which salt and pepper have been added.
- 2 brown in shortening.
- 3 when brown, push meat to one corner and add vegetables, keeping each separate.
- 4 salt and pepper to taste.
- 5 cover and steam over low heat for 30 minutes or until all ingredients are tender.
