Sunflower Seed Brittle

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 cup salted dry roasted sunflower seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
Recipe
- 1 butter a large baking sheet; set aside.
- 2 melt butter in small saucepan.
- 3 add seeds and salt and mix well.
- 4 keep warm.
- 5 melt sugar in heavy skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- 6 when sugar is golden brown, quickly stir in warm seeds.
- 7 pour out onto baking sheet and spread with wooden spoon or spatula into 10" square.
- 8 let cool until firm.
- 9 break into pieces and store in air-tight container in a cool, dry place.
