Spiced Shrimp With Avocado Oil

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/2 tablespoons avocado oil
- lime wedge
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle shrimp with sugar and salt.
- 2 combine chili powder, cumin, coriander, and oregano.
- 3 lightly coat shrimp with spice mixture.
- 4 heat a large nonstick skillet over medium to high heat.
- 5 add 1 teaspoon oil and half the shrimp; saute 4 mins or until done.
- 6 remove from pan.
- 7 repeat procedure with 1 teaspoon oil and remaining shrimp.
- 8 place shrimp in a platter, drizzle with remaining oil over shrimp.
- 9 serve with lime wedges.
